Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Zen CV. By using the Service or completing a purchase, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Service Description

Zen CV ("the Service") is an online tool that generates professional CV / resume documents using artificial intelligence. In these Terms, "we", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Service or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. Service & Pricing

• For each generation, you choose one of five style directions. The AI produces three distinct design variations of that style for you to preview.
• The preview is free and shown with a watermark.
• Pricing: US$5 for the clean, watermark-free PDF of the design variation you select.
• Prices may change without prior notice. Changes do not affect completed purchases.

4. AI-Generated Content

• CVs are generated using artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unsuitable phrasing.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all generated content before use.
• We do not guarantee that generated CVs will result in job interviews, offers, or any specific outcome.
• We do not guarantee that generated content is free from plagiarism or copyright issues.

5. Your Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate information about yourself.
• You must not use the Service to create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive CVs.
• You must review all generated content for accuracy before submitting to employers.
• You are responsible for ensuring your CV complies with applicable laws and employer requirements.

6. Payment & Refunds

• Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We do not store your payment card details.
• All sales are final. No refunds are provided once the watermark-free PDF has been generated and served, as the service is delivered instantly.
• If the Service fails to generate any output due to a technical error on our side, we will either re-generate your CV or provide a full refund at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

• You retain full ownership of all personal information you provide.
• Generated CV documents are yours to use freely for personal and professional purposes.
• The Service's templates, design, code, and branding remain our intellectual property.
• You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the CV templates themselves.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
• Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
• We are not liable for any loss of employment opportunities, income, or other damages resulting from the use of generated CVs.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Any inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information you provide
• Any third-party claims related to CVs you created using the Service

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any dispute, claim, or controversy relating to the Service will be handled in the courts or dispute-resolution forum determined under applicable law, unless a different forum is required by mandatory consumer-protection rules.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
