Hiring managers reviewing Scrum Master CVs look for practical Agile delivery experience across sprint planning, daily scrums, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and stakeholder coordination. Your CV should name the tools you use, such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Miro, or Trello, and show how you track velocity, burndown, cycle time, impediments, and release readiness. Certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster, Professional Scrum Master, SAFe Scrum Master, or AgilePM help, but they are strongest when paired with examples of coaching teams, improving backlog health, supporting Product Owners, and helping engineering, QA, UX, and business teams deliver increments predictably.
Three things that matter most
- Show the Agile environment you worked in, including team size, sprint length, product type, and whether you supported Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban, or SAFe delivery. This gives hiring managers context for your facilitation and coaching experience.
